Financial literacy workshops in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario
Life Capital runs financial literacy workshops for teens in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario: open sessions of five hours from 13:00, usually at weekends, with up to eight players at a table and a certified Trainer leading the debrief. Dates are sent on request. An open seat costs CAD 150, or CAD 100 each when two people book together. Schools and youth groups can book a session of their own.
Players make decisions, work with a balance sheet, respond to changing circumstances and then talk through the choices.

- credit, borrowing and debt trade-offs;
- saving and investing;
- risk and emergency expenses;
- financial goals and opportunity cost;
- negotiation, cooperation and decision-making.
Life Capital in Ottawa
Life Capital’s Canadian activity includes national youth tournament events in Ottawa. The first Canadian national tournament was held at Carleton University in April 2025, followed by the second national stage in Ottawa in March 2026.

Schools can use a classroom workshop, recurring club or tournament pathway. For Grade 10 students, Life Capital can complement learning around the concepts behind Ontario’s new Financial Literacy Graduation Requirement, while remaining separate from the official TVO modules and assessment.
