Every value on this page comes from one of two sources: the tournament's own stage materials, or the official registration form. Whatever those two do not confirm stays hatched until the organisers fill it in.

The day

Five hours, one table at a time

The tournament ran on the standard Life Capital format: six players to a table, each of them from a different school or city, each of them holding a ledger they fill in themselves. Every table had a certified trainer presiding and a central banker auditing the portfolios, and the day was played in rounds with a break between them.

Players who arrived with the same tactic they used in the training game found it worked once, and then stopped working — the table adapts faster than a plan does.

Registration came in through the official form: 36 teenagers between 11 and 18, from Ottawa, Carleton Place, Almonte and Calgary. Interest in playing an international stage afterwards was close to unanimous on the form — 32 of the 36 said yes to the question about the next international tournament.

The award ceremony

The day closed with diplomas and medals struck for this tournament, reading FinGame UA · Ottawa · Canada 2026. The full result table is with the organisers; the ledger above stays hatched on the champion row until they confirm it.
