One set of rules, several countries at the same tables
An international stage puts players who qualified through their national tournaments at the same tables, under one set of rules, with a certified Trainer running every table and a Banker who pays out and collects the money at every table. Teams disperse: a country's six players sit at six different tables, so a team result is the sum of six separate negotiations with strangers.
Vienna 2024 drew entries from twelve countries. Frankfurt 2025 seated 42 players in seven teams. Geneva is the third.

IYEF — International Youth Economic Forum is the organiser of the Geneva 2026 international stage.
Life Capital in Canada coordinates the Canadian pathway and Team Canada participation. Life Capital Canada is not the organiser of the Geneva Forum.

Bohdan Hawrylyshyn · 100 years
The 2026 International Youth Economic Forum marks the centenary of Bohdan Hawrylyshyn (1926–2016) — a Ukrainian-born Canadian economist, educator and philanthropist whose life connected Ukraine, Canada and Switzerland.
After coming to Canada as a displaced person, he studied at the University of Toronto and later built much of his international career in Geneva.
His legacy of education, responsible leadership and building better societies is reflected in the themes of the 2026 Forum.
