For companies, HR and L&D

A business simulation your team plays in one working day — and a written list of what to change on Monday.

Life Capital is a facilitated simulation. Six to eighteen people make resource decisions under time pressure, with limited information and competing goals, and then spend the last part of the day taking apart what they decided and why. A certified Trainer runs the session; a Banker handles the numbers so nobody on your team is doing admin.

What the session actually is

Each participant gets a Player Legend: a role with a starting position and a budget. Everyone plays their own position, but the resources on the table are finite and the goals conflict — so the session turns into negotiation almost immediately, without anyone being told to negotiate.

Through the game participants make decisions with visible consequences: allocate or hold, invest or wait, take on obligations, absorb a shock they did not plan for. Every decision is written into a ledger, so at the end there is a record of what each person did, not a memory of it.

The last block is the retrospective. That is the part your team will remember: roles are named out loud, the points where communication broke are located on the board, and the group writes the improvements down.

OutputForm it takes
Agreed principles for making decisionswritten, in the team's own words, from the retrospective
Role map and the “red zones” of communicationwho does what, and where it broke during play
5–7 actionable process improvementsa backlog the team wrote itself, with owners

What this is not: an assessment report with scores you can put in a personnel file, unless you book the HR assessment format and agree the criteria in advance. Not certification. Not a team-building day with rope courses — there is a board, a ledger and a facilitator.

If your problem is not on this list, say so in the enquiry. If a session is the wrong tool for it, we will say so on the call rather than sell you one.

How ordering works
  1. Enquiry — form or email. Tell us the team size, the format you think fits, and the window of dates.
  2. A 30-minute briefing call. This is the only preparation we need from you: what the team does, what is going wrong, what you want to be different afterwards. Out of this we agree the 2–3 metrics to check before and after.
  3. A written offer: format, duration, group size, location, what we bring, what you provide, price.
  4. The session.
  5. The retrospective document — the outputs above, in writing, sent to you.
  6. The re-check, on the metrics agreed at step 2, on the date agreed at step 2.

Lead time, cancellation terms, the invoicing entity and whether the Trainer travels are questions with the owner.

Practical questions HR asks first

How much preparation do we need to do?

A 30-minute briefing. No pre-audit, no survey, no homework for participants.

Can it run online?

Yes, with a facilitator. Offline, offsite and online are all supported.

What do we need in the room?

Tables that seat 5–8, chairs, a whiteboard. We bring the boards, cards, chips and markers.

Can you run it in English and Ukrainian?

Yes. Both languages are native to this methodology. Other languages are a question with the owner.

How do we prove it worked?

By the metrics you and we agree in the briefing, measured before and re-checked after. We do not offer a standard percentage — the number depends on what you chose to measure.

What does it cost?

Not published yet. You get the figure in the reply to your enquiry, before the briefing call.

Can we speak to a client who has done this?

Not yet. Until a client agrees to be named, we will not describe one — not even anonymously.

What happens after you send it

Book a corporate session

  1. Confirmation on screen and an email from [email protected] with a copy of your enquiry.
  2. A reply from a person offering times for the 30-minute briefing call. Not a brochure.
  3. After the call — a written offer with price, duration, group size and what each side provides. If a session is not the right tool for your problem, you get that answer on the call, in the call, for free.
