VIENNA. APRIL 26-28. A HISTORIC START.
The Financial Literacy Ambassador League and Business Club "Partner," with the support of the Deposit Guarantee Fund and Rotary in Ukraine, held the First International Financial Literacy Tournament.
This event was built on values. The Head of the League and 55% of the League Council are Rotarians who embrace the motto "Service Above Self." This motto became the foundation for uniting efforts for the future of our children.
Geography and Unity
The tournament took place thanks to incredible international solidarity. 12 teams gathered in Vienna. The tournament featured participants from:
Ukraine, Greece, Slovakia, Poland, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Croatia, Portugal, Denmark, the USA, and Canada.
The event united Ukrainian youth forced to leave their homeland due to the war. Despite all challenges, they continue to study and acquire financial literacy skills. Thanks to the help of Rotarians from around the world, the children had the opportunity not only to compete but also to explore the history and culture of hospitable Vienna.
